Because I never want to forget...

Our first house.  We loved that house and had many mixed emotions about walking out the door for the last time.  We moved in a week before we got married, then brought our babies home to that house, and saw many ups and downs that we somehow managed to fight through.  Our kids did NOT want to leave that house, the place they called home, but we knew we had outgrown it and with two promises to our boys, we were able to convince them to move - 1. We would 100% stay in our current elementary school district.  2. We would make sure they had a big dedicated playroom that would not require daily clean up.  The playroom at our old house was our sun room, which flowed into the rest of the living spaces, resulting in me being the crazy mom who made her kids clean up train tracks and Lego creations every day.  We kept true to both promises.

So before I go on posting about our brand new "forever home" (uuuuugh - I don't know why that phrase bothers me so much, maybe it's just played out), I want to take a moment honoring our first house by posting pictures so that I never forget it.  It's an odd attachment we have to houses.  It for sure felt incredibly strange driving by there a few weeks ago knowing that it no longer belongs to us, but it's not ours anymore so it's time to move on.  Without further ado, here is our first house:
