Verona Elevation, Options, Floorplan

I'm a researcher by nature.  While I was initially SUPER-irritated by the lack of customization Ryan Homes allows, when it was all said and done, the limitations were a great thing or I would still be trying to decide on everything.  My husband has been very supportive of the decisions I made, and I even allowed him to make some choices! :)

So here we go!

  • Model: Verona Version 4
  • Elevation:  L (partial brick with front porch)
  • Biggest (a whopping .37 acres - oh yeah!), most private (backs up to woods, but there are others that back up to woods, so I don't know what makes ours the most private) lot...and I managed to get it fo free!

Here is what our elevation looks like (color choices are different - see selections for details):

Structural Changes/General Upgrades:

  • Morning Room (included in our community) - this also changes the layout of the kitchen and garage entry way, and gives us a walk-in pantry!
  • First floor bedroom in lieu of formal living room (this also changes first floor half bath into a full bath)
  • Finished attic (No bedroom, bathroom, or closet - non-standard request.  We wanted one big open space for a play room and did not want the bonus room above the garage since it would have shared a wall with the master bedroom.)
  • Gourmet Kitchen with double ovens :)
Our appliance package:

As it turns out, that dishwasher was discontinued, so here is the one we actually got with the package:

  • Stone Fireplace in family room
  • Wood deck (12'x14')
  • Optional additional windows in morning room
  • Garage service door
  • Exhaust vent in kitchen
  • Laundry tub in the garage (non-standard)
  • Double-bowl vanity in 2nd floor secondary bathroom
  • Upgraded master bathroom to include soaking tub and separate shower, with tile surround (included in our community)
  • All bathrooms in our community come standard with tile surround - we chose to do a non-standard request for both secondary bathrooms to have fiberglass tub/showers installed for the ease of cleaning them...they will both be hidden by shower curtains anyway!
  • Oak stairs with white balusters

Here is our floor plan with the changes:
